CONCLUSIONS
The total content of flavonoids in the extracts
ranged from 10 to 166 mg/L. Supposing that
flavonoids are present in the form of aglicons
we can assume that our beebread samples
contain mainly flavons as the maximum
absorbance of extracts in their differential
spectra are less than 415 nm, namely in the
range of 406.9–411.7 nm.
But on the other hand, there is the following
regularity for absorption maxima of flavonols: at
substitution of the C-3 hydroxyl group
absorption maximum of complex of flavonoids
with AlCl is shifted the left.

For this reason, we assume that our bee bread
sample can contain flavonols mainly in the form
of glycosides and flavons.
